CHAPEL
Chapel is a mixed use planned development in the Poe Mill Community Greenville, SC. The site contains an abandoned industrial facility that is being redeveloped to provide office space, co-work space, restaurants and retail opportunities. The development is focused on providing opportunities for entrepreneurship and economic growth in a disadvantaged community.
Sexton Design and Development provided Site Planning, Landscape Architecture Design and Rezoning Assistance for the project. Rezoning assistance included hosting community and public meetings, preparing full rezoning documents for a review district, and providing a liaison with Greenville County Planning office and Greenville County Council. Site planning included working with existing utility and stormwater infrastructure and existing buildings. Landscape architecture design includes public patios, event spaces, and planned green walls.
